Have you ever dreamt of hiking on a glacier? Are you between the ages of 7-80 and in a normal shape? Then this is your chance. The Blue Ice Hike departs daily from Fonna Glacier Ski Resort from the middle of July until the middle of September. Out hikes on the Juklavass Glacier is suitable for mostly anyone and we adapt the difficulty to your desires, either it's an easy hike or a challenging glacier climb.
Juklavass Glacier consists of both calm, flat ice and more challenging crevasse areas so it's easy to adjust the difficulty level to the participators wishes and the conditions. Half way up the icefall we stop to enjoy the view of the North Sea and Rosendal Alps. You'll also learn about the local culture and the geography.
Walking back down we can enjoy the beautiful evening light over the mountains and fjords below us.
The Glacier is located only a couple hours from Bergen so it can easily be done as a day trip.

Good to know
We offer rental of water/windproof layers and fleece. Send us an email if you need to rent clothes. Sunglasses, sun lotion, maps, snacks and lunch are also available for sale. Please email us before the tour if you wish to purchase one of these things.
