You will meet your guide by the famous chocolate store "Freia", which is located on Oslo's main street, Karl Johans Gate. As you embark on the first leg of this tour, you follow your guide down the bustling streets Oslo's as you learn about the capital's storied history. 

Your walk comes to an end at one of Oslo's authentic restaurant, located in the heart of the city. As you sit down at a comfortable table, you will be given culinary samples like mackerel, steam salmon & pepper salmon to try out. All of these tastings are considered Norwegian specialities.

After the tasting, you will embark on the next leg of your culinary journey. With your guide, you will get acquainted with Oslo's public transport, as you commute on the iconic blue "Trikken" tram to the next destination. Once there, you get a taste of the traditional and delicious Norwegian waffle, whilst you enjoy the view of the river "Akerselva" and its wonderful waterfall.

After these tasting of Norwegian food & desserts, you make your way to the market. There, you will be taking in the rich smells that waft from more than 36 stands serving up culinary treats from around the globe.

What is a food tour without trying great cheeses? On the next stop, you will get a taste of 3 different kinds of Norwegian cheese, including the famous brown cheese.

The following leg will take you to your next stop. At one of Oslo's renowned cocktail bars, you will be able to savour some akvavit, a famed Scandinavian spirit perfumed with spices and herbs. Beer will also be served at this stop and the experts will explain why have they chosen these particular beers for you.

To finish the tour, the guide will take you for the last walking leg of the trip. The tour will be ending at a famous bridge called "Anker Brua". The bridge tells the stories of 4 Norwegian fairy tales, the most famous one being " Per Gynt". At the end of this stop, the guide will be asking you if you need extra guidance or if you prefer to walk back by yourselves to the main street Karl Johan ( 5-minute walk from the bridge).
