Lofoten is quickly growing in popularity and tourists are realizing exactly why this has become such a beloved location. On this 6-hour tour, you will be introduced to the most spectacular locations that the islands have to offer, both natural, historical and cultural. Now is your chance to walk along a snow-covered beach facing the crystal blue ocean with spectacular peaks as a backdrop. The tour also passes by traditional "Rorbuer" (old fishermen's houses) located in various villages on the island. Not only will you be able to see and feel the magic of Lofoten, you'll get to try some local dishes in one of the village restaurants.
This tour combines the beautiful fishing villages that made the islands famous and the unspoiled nature, which is the most extraordinary part of the picturesque archipelago.
We begin by walking through Kabelvåg where your guide introduces you to some locale history and you have some time to take images. We continue and visit the western parts of the islands in Eggum. This is one of the greatest places to catch the authentic atmosphere of the North Sea and it's known for the extreme nature.
Further on we walk in Utakleiv, on of Lofoten's most iconic beaches and the nearby Haukland Beach which was named one of the most beautiful locations in the world by Times Magazine. As we keep going we stop by Unstad Beach, which is a popular spot for Arctic surfers.
The tour continues and we stop by Rørvik beach where we also will enjoy a brief snack. Before we end the tour we stop by one of the best-preserved fishing hamlet of the Lofoten archipleago, Henningsvær.
