Get ready to bathe in the spectacular view from the top of Pulpit Rock, on this specialised hiking tour of the cliff of Lysefjord. This tour is for any avid hikers who enjoy a challenge and wish to venture off the beaten track, to fully experience authentic Norwegian nature.

After getting picked up and transported via ferry, your adventure begins with canoeing across Lake Refsvatn. There is nothing quite like a canoe ride to get you in the mood for adventure. As you paddle through the lake, you will behold the spectacular scenery of the riverbanks and their ascending mountains.

Upon reaching your destination of Pulpit Rock, you will realise what it is that draws close to 300.000 visitors to it annually. The cliff towers over 600 metres with a near perfectly vertical drop from the top, straight down Lysefjord Fjord. It is spectacular to behold, and even more rewarding to climb.

Because of the cliff’s great popularity, its paths tend to get crowded, especially during the summer months. Your expert local guides will take you off the beaten track to avoid these crowds, providing a unique and up-close experience in ascending the rocky trail.

Only a selected few people know of the routes which you will be taking on this challenging hike for real adventurers. Get ready to clamber and trek before reaching the summit, where you will take in the breathtaking view from the top.

Those who are brave enough can then get down on all fours to peek down from the ledge, straight down the vertical drop ending in the water below. The scenery from the top is an archetypical Norwegian fjord of blue waters and idyllic islands.

Remember to bring your camera for all the unique photo opportunities en route and from the top. Don’t miss out on this adventure of a lifetime. Check availability by choosing a date.
